Process
In the previous post, we discussed how product is the main thing you should be focusing on, and the marketing will take care of itself.
However, results can take time, and the lack of external validation can be frustrating.
How do you get around this?
Simple. Focus on the process. Not the goal.
A goal is merely the end result (success). The process is what gets you there (effort).
This would mean creating an actionable routine for yourself.
This can be as simple as an hour of focused work every morning on your product.
In life, this can be reading for 20 minutes every night, going to the gym three times a week, or meditating when you wake up.
As long as you keep putting in the work, the results will follow, and the world will start taking notice.
As a side effect, this will eliminate any need you have for external validation.
The self-growth and progress will itself be enough of a reward.
That is success.
Enjoy the process. It’s where most of life happens.
