Hello, fellow founders!🧡
Back in high school, I used to think I was bad at math.
Naturally, my grades reflected this belief.
Fast forward to college, I was consistently top of my class.
What changed?
Well, mainly, I started applying the same stuff in more exciting ways (building video games instead of solving arbitrary proofs).
But, more importantly, what this did was give me a firsthand glimpse of awakening from the limiting belief many of us unwittingly trap ourselves into — “I’m not good at X.”
That’s just not true, and something called a fixed mindset.
I firmly believe anyone can learn (and get exceptionally good at) anything if we set our minds to it.
This month’s pick shows us how.🚀🔥
Welcome to the 9th edition of the Flyby Book Club. 📖
Last month’s pick was about building a startup out of nothing. Naturally, this involves learning new things and building a bunch of skills we might not have had before (marketing, sales, branding, coding, writing, speaking, design, whatever they might be). This month, we’ll learn how to rewire our brains for success in skill acquisition.
This month’s book is about a fundamental shift in mindset that can improve literally every area of our lives. It contains one of the most powerful concepts I’ve read about, and I think it’s time to give it another read.
This month’s pick is about the legendary growth mindset. Something we can use to upgrade our beliefs in any area. It applies to learning, skills, business, parenting, relationships, you name it.
If you haven’t read this book before, I recommend you read it. Otherwise, read it again, and again. It’s worth imprinting this stuff into your subconscious.🎯🧠
The ninth book is …
